What it’s like working with wildlife rescued from Australia’s deadly fires

Ecologists at the University of Sydney estimate that 480 million animals have died in the fires in New South Wales since September. The wildfires have destroyed about five million hectares of land in Australia. In this piece, wildlife rescuer Tracy Burgess talks about the animal rescue effort.
